Our detached cottage and 4 riverside apartments are situated in the National Trust village of Allerford alongside a shallow river overlooking the famous Pack Horse bridge.
We are open all year, have onsite parking and laundry facilities, pets are welcome by arrangement and secure storage for your outdoor pursuit equipment is available.
There is something here for everyone whatever the season, whether it be participating in the many outdoor pursuits i.e. walking, horse riding, cycling, fishing, bird watching to name but a few or visiting local attractions, events, arts & crafts, experiencing the delights of local produce or simply relax in our comfortable accommodation and peaceful surroundings.

On the 5th June we celebrated 10 years at The Pack Horse, we can't believe how quick it's gone by.
Hooray, the baby ducklings have arrived.
During early Spring we had to take the decision to have the large Ash tree from behind the cottage cut down due to it becoming brittle with age causeing large branches to fall from it, however, on a positive note, the courtyard plants are thriving due the the additional sunlight that the tree used to block out
